Description
One Blood – freedom series
“From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.” (Acts 17:26)
Here the unity of the human race is clearly stated, for through Adam and Eve (Gen 3: 20), and the Sons of Noah (Gen 9:19), all races and nationalities of men came forth. We all proceed from one blood. The same blood types are found in all races. Differences are merely skin deep or culturally flavoured, but all people are related.
We live in a single world community. No race or nation has the right to look down on another. Aborigines are still feeling the affects of ill treatment and brutality inflicted upon them by the early European settlers of Australia. Did not one God create us? (Mal 2: 10)
“For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” (Leviticus 17:11)
Aborigines use dark red in their paintings to represent blood. They recognise blood as a life force. Human existence itself is only made possible through the blood. There is no greater symbol of life than blood, blood keeps us alive.
“…and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (Revelationj 5:9)
God’s message of salvation and eternal life is not limited to a specific culture, race, or country. Jesus shed His blood for your sins so that you wouldn’t have to experience eternal separation from God. His sacrifice brings pardon, deliverance and freedom. Anyone who comes to God in repentance and faith is accepted by Him and will be part of His kingdom.
