Peter studied a Bachelor of Arts in Animation at the Queensland College of Art. In his third year of study, he was recruited by Walt Disney Studios to work on “Winnie the Pooh”, “Gummie Bears” and “Dark Wing Duck” series. He later went on to do work on another Disney production the “Proud Family” series. This was a great start to his career and since then he has worked on many and varied projects as an animator, illustrator, concept artist and designer. 

Peter established Carlos Studios working as a commercial artist, creating illustration and design solutions for film & animation studios, advertising agencies, corporate clients and companies in the medical, realty, education, hospitality and entertainment industries. 

Peter now devotes his time to Angelion Art projects, producing Visionary Art, Illustrations and Picture Books in an environment that allows for insight and creative freedom.

Koolaroo Books: Art director and illustrator for “KJ Goes Invisible” children’s picture book, the first of a series of light-hearted adventures for children authored by Koola Kaye.

Genesis Productions: Produced a fully illustrated banner (30m x 2m) depicting a panoramic view of the Bible depicting over 50 scenes. This artwork is currently circulating Australia and some parts of Africa with the Tent of Promise ministries.

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE: Developed “Basic Drawing & Cartooning” course and a workbook.

My Restaurant Rules: Created artist impressions of restaurant, marketing and design solutions for the Brisbane contestants.

Blair Athol Coal: Designed an award winning brochure, posters and educational material for Australia’s biggest mining Company.

Tourist Maps of Australia: Designed and illustrated A2 tourist poster of Australian, which was sold through Australia Post and overseas.
