Artists have been imbued with various gifts and talents to produce art that not only entertains, but also make profound statements about society and the human condition. This verse from the Bible expresses this so poignantly, “And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. (Ex 35:31-33)
Through my Visionary Art I hope to communicate a clear and positive message via artistic expression that embodies mood, emotion, power and movement. I aim to produce artwork that presents different Biblical themes in a literal or allegorical sense via drawing and painting in a fresh and uplifting way.
‘Heart of Flesh’ and ‘Stand Firm’ prints appeared in ‘Life 99’ and ‘The River is Rising’ art exhibitions with some heartfelt reactions to the work.
