John Wayne is an enduring iconic American actor best known for starring in numerous cowboy movies and war films. He was a political activist later in life representing old fashioned American values.

I loved watching old John Wayne films as a youngster. He was tough and always stood up for the under-dog. He certainly deserves the title of ‘American legend’.
