The relationship between words, pictures, movement, music, sound effects and colour is the greatest keyboard yet that modern technology has to offer the creative artist. (Tony Helas).
The above statement hung up at the Queensland College of Art in the studio practice room where Peter studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Animation. In his younger days Peter was a mad fan of the Peanuts gang by Charles Shultz and Asterix Adventure Albums written by Goscinny and illustrated by Uderzo, one of the best cartoonists of all time. This interest had a profound effect on Peter, which led him down the road toward his artistic pursuit.
In his third year of study at Queensland College of Art, Peter’s dream was realised when he was fortunate enough to be recruited by Walt Disney Studios after passing their entrance tests. There he worked on “Winnie the Pooh”, “Gummie Bears” and “Dark Wing Duck” series.
This was a great start to Peter’s career and since then has worked with different film & animation studios on various projects as an animator, clean up artist, layout artist, storyboard artist and concept designer.
